Evie Pickerill
Evie Pickerill is a British actress, TV presenter, and live events host, best known as one of the leading faces of the beloved children’s channel CBeebies. She currently presents CBeebies House, a flagship series available on BBC iPlayer and YouTube, where her warmth and charisma make her a favourite among young viewers and parents alike. Evie’s versatility shines through in her standout performances in CBeebies’ Christmas and Shakespeare productions, where she has taken on leading roles that showcase her talent both on screen and on stage. She also appears regularly on CBBC and has guest-starred on the iconic Blue Peter.
Beyond television, Evie has a strong background in theatre. Over the past four years, she has starred in a range of pantomimes, most recently playing the lead in Aladdin at York Theatre Royal. Her stage credits also include the musical SHOUT at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, following her critically acclaimed performance at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
An experienced live presenter, Evie has hosted events at major festivals including Glastonbury. In 2023, she expanded into radio, making her debut on Heart North West, and continues to explore exciting opportunities in broadcasting. She has also taken part in high-profile press junkets, interviewing creators behind Disney+ series such as Iwájú and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. In early 2024, Evie launched her podcast, “Evie Asks… How Are You?” to help children explore and understand their emotions through playful activities like movement, affirmations, and breathing exercises. The podcast has been nominated for a British Podcast Award in the Kids category.
Outside of her professional work, Evie is a passionate advocate for children’s well-being. She is an ambassador for Place2Be and Children with Cancer UK, and actively supports Comic Relief and Children in Need. Her dedication to using her platform for good highlights her commitment to making a positive impact both on and off the screen, and she is excited to welcome more commercial opportunities this year.
