Evie Pickerill
Evie Pickerill is a British actress and TV presenter, best known as one of the main faces of the popular children’s television channel, CBeebies. In addition to her role on CBeebies, Evie regularly appears on CBBC and has guest-starred on the iconic Blue Peter.
During her time on CBeebies, she has taken leading roles in their celebrated Christmas and Shakespeare productions, showcasing her talent for both screen and stage performance. Evie’s passion for performing extends beyond television. Over the past four years, she has starred in a range of pantomimes, most recently taking on a lead role in Aladdin at York Theatre Royal. Her theatrical credits also include starring in the musical SHOUT at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, following her critically acclaimed performance at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, the prestigious university where she trained.
In addition to acting, Evie is an experienced live events presenter, hosting at major festivals such as Glastonbury. In 2023, she expanded her career into radio, hosting her first cover show for Heart North West. She continues to explore opportunities in broadcasting and has also taken part in high-profile press junkets, interviewing creators behind Disney+ series such as ‘Iwájú’ and ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’. She has also recently launched her own podcast, ‘Evie Asks…’ which is a podcast designed to help children explore their emotions and understand how to manage their feelings through engaging activities like fun movements, affirmations, and breathing techniques.
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Evie is a passionate advocate for several children’s charities. She regularly supports fundraising initiatives for Comic Relief and Children In Need and serves as an ambassador for Place2Be and Children With Cancer UK. Her dedication to using her platform for good highlights her commitment to making a positive impact both on and off the screen and she is excited to welcome more commercial opportunities this year.
